Leicester played host to international rugby for the first time since 2022 as England battled Scotland at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
A bumper crowd of 15'530 packed into Tigers HQ to witness a barnstorming encounter between the two nations.
The final score of 59 - 7 illustrates a tale of superlative rugby from the Roses, but Scotland kept fighting throughout an engrossing contest.
Speaking to Tigers fans on a bustling Johno's Plaza, there was a real excitement ahead of the game, with thousands on hand to cheer on England as they took part in their version of the Plaza Prowl.
"It's something different and great to see so many supporting the game" said Luke, a fan in attendance with his two young children Harry and Emily.
"This was our first time seeing the Red Roses. We've watched the Tigers women's team a few times and travelled down to support Leicester at Big Game 16 in December.
"Emily is excited to see Emily Scarratt since they share the same name!".
The atmosphere was exceptional throughout, with supporters from both teams in great spirits.
The match saw huge cheers for both sides, lots of singing following wonderful renditions of 'Flower of Scotland' and 'God Save The King' before several Mexican waves formed part of a party atmosphere in the ground.
Lucy and Joanna, two fans who had seen the Roses back in 2022 when Leicester hosted the Six Nations clash with Ireland, said: "International rugby on our doorstep, it's amazing!
"We're Tigers Season Ticket holders so we know how loud it can get here (at Mattioli Woods Welford Road) but the atmosphere was brilliant.
"Amazing way to spend the bank holiday weekend and what a fantastic crowd!".
More than 23,000 tickets have been sold for next Saturday's Gallagher Premiership fixture at Mattioli Woods Welford Road which doubles as this season's JTC Takeover Day.
