Leicester Tigers saw several players compete in the opening round of the 2024 Guinness Women's Six Nations.
In the round's second match, two Tigers took to the field as Scotland travelled to Cardiff to claim a first ever Six Nations victory in Wales.
Prop Leah Bartlett started the match and put in an enormous shift, going 74 minutes and completing 12 tackles to help her side edge a tight game 18 - 20.
Elis Martin came off the bench to mark her first ever Six Nations appearance, the hooker throwing perfectly in a pressure cooker final twenty minutes, while lock Eva Donaldson also featured amongst the replacements.
In the final match of the weekend, England travelled to Parma to battle Italy, with the Red Roses triumphing 0 - 48 over the hosts.
Meg Jones came off the bench for the final twenty minutes, the centre showing typical endeavour as England ran in six tries in an explosive second half.
The second round of the 2024 Guinness Six Nations will see Scotland return home to Edinburgh to battle France (Saturday, March 30, kick off: 2.15pm) while the Red Roses will host Wales at Ashton Gate stadium in Bristol (Saturday, March 30, kick off: 4.45pm).
Leicester Tigers are pleased to announce that the Allianz Cup knockout fixtures are now confirmed, with Tigers set to face Harlequins Women at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday, April 13 (kick off: 12.30pm) and tickets on sale now.
