The Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge will provide supporters with the first opportunity to see some of Leicester Tigers' summer signings in action.Director of rugby Richard Cockerill says he expects most of his squad to play a part in Saturday’s game against Los Pumas at Welford Road (kick-off 3pm).   That is set to include new signings such as Mike Fitzgerald and Greg Bateman, as well as Peter Betham and Lachlan McCaffrey.   Cockerill also says that Argentina winger Gonzalo Camacho, who has missed the last two seasons with a shoulder injury, is set to make his club debut against his home country.   “We are going into it as a proper game,” said Cockerill. “We will have an extended squad and everyone will get some game time.   “There are a lot of young lads who will get their first experience of playing at Welford Road and playing against a Test team, which is fantastic.   “Let’s not forget that it is our first game and Argentina come fresh off the Championship. They have had a tough Championship and a quality result against South Africa.   “It’s their last game before the World Cup and it’s our first game leading into the season. We have a lot of young guys, we have a lot of new combinations. It’s about getting the process and getting the performance right and let’s see where that takes us.   “They are ranked eighth in the world so it is going to be a real test for us.   “We will try to put some of our plays and our shapes together and start to build for the season. October 8 is the important date against London Irish away and that’s what we’ve got to start to focus on.”   Cockerill added: “It’s ironic that Gonzalo Camacho will make his debut for Leicester against Argentina.   “Gonzo has had a tough time. He has worked really hard.   “His first game back he played a Test match against Australia, he is now back with us training.   “Let’s hope that he is injury free, that he plays well and he gets back to where we know he can play.”   Tickets are available for the game from the Tigers ticket office on 0116 319 8888, in person at Welford Road and online by clicking here.
