Leicester Tigers are pleased to welcome back to the club, Head of Athletic Performance, Matt Parr.
A former professional prop, Parr joined the Strength and Conditioning team at Leicester Tigers during the 2015/16 campaign, which doubled as his final season as a member of the club's senior squad.
As well as Tigers, Parr played for Sale Sharks, Saracens and London Irish.
Parr shifted in the role of Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach in June 2016 before being promoted to Strength and Conditioning Lead ahead of the 2020/21 season under Head of Physical Performance Aled Walters.
Wanting to gain more experience in a lead role, Parr joined Rugby League side, Catalan Dragons in January of 2022.
Speaking on his return to Tigers, Parr said: “This is a very special opportunity for me.”
“I’m thankful to Catalan Dragons for my time there and I’m very excited to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained back to Tigers.
The club means a lot to me, and I’ll drive through the gates at Oval Park ready to get stuck into preseason to prepare the players for the upcoming season.”
