Welcome to the Tigers World Cup Fanzone

The Tigers World Cup fanzone is open at Welford Road this weekend as rugby supporters follow the best national teams from across the globe.The free Tigers World Cup Fanzone will be open this Sunday as Argentina face Tonga in the city of Leicester.   Based on the plaza outside Welford Road stadium, the Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team will be here to demonstrate their skills and promote their sport – and you’ll be welcome to have a go too.   The Tigers roadshow vehicle, known as The Maul, will be there too, allowing you to take a commemorative photo in front of a Tigers backdrop, and you can take the Speed Pass Challenge or test yourself on the Tigers Tackle Bag.   The Matt Hampson Foundation will be in attendance with their Speed Cage activity and the Junior Tigers Club team will provide activities for younger fans.   The Final Whistle bar will be open for food and refreshments. If you’re not going on to the game, you can stay and watch the coverage at the home of the Tigers.   The Tigers Fanzone is open from 11.30am this Sunday ahead of the .30pm kick-off between Marcos Ayerza’s Pumas and Opeti Fonua’s Tongans and will stay open for an hour afterwards if you want to call in on the home way home.   Our fanzone is also open next Sunday around the Argentina versus Namibia match, and there will be live music too, both before and after the game.   Tigers World Cup Fanzone at Welford Road   October 4: Argentina v Tonga, KO 2.30pm Fanzone opens 11.30am   October 11: Argentina v Nambia, KO 12.00pm Fanzone opens at 10am
