Leicester Tigers and club partner Welford Investments can announce a two-year extension to their partnership with a deal until the end of the 2021/22 season. 

The investment specialists were founded by Leicester Tigers non-executive director Petar Cvetkovic and have a been a long-standing partner behind the scenes at the club in recent seasons. 

Petar was announced as in a change-up on the board of directors back in February 2020 and saw him replace Lord Digby Jones as chair of the Remuneration Committee.

The two-year deal will now see the company benefit from a number of sponsorship and branding opportunities, including the naming rights to the Directors Lounge in the North Stand’s Premiership Suite.

The company will also be the official player sponsor of Tigers and England prop Ellis Genge and the club’s head coach Steve Borthwick.

The support of each of the club’s partners throughout the pandemic has been even more vital at a time when matchday and stadium revenues have been halted. 

The commitment of partners allows Tigers to resource not only the playing squad but also continue its important role in the community.
