Harry Wells has won the first Lumbers Player of the Month award of the new season.
Wells won the award for August for his performances in the pre-season fixtures against Benetton Treviso and the home and away games against Ospreys.
The second-rower, who started Saturday’s 20-13 victory over Exeter Chiefs, won the vote ahead of his Tigers teammates Ben Betts and Joe Ford.
Supported by High Street jewellers Lumbers and voted for by Tigers supporters, the Player of the Month award recognises the contributions of individual players to the team cause throughout the campaign.
Keep an eye out on the club website and social media channels for the nominees for the September award and voting details for September’s award soon.
