Following an internal disciplinary hearing held on Friday morning, Leicester Tigers prop Julian White has been suspended from playing for one week.
Club officials reviewed the incident which led to his citing after the Heineken Cup round six match against Leinster and have found White guilty of striking an opponent.

A club statement said: “Julian immediately accepted his guilt of the offence and has said he is very sorry for his loss of control. He knows that he has let down his team-mates and the supporters.
“He has apologised in respect of the incident and has been banned for seven days. He will miss the Guinness Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons this weekend.”
White is due to appear before an independent disciplinary committee as a result of the citing for alleged punching/striking in contravention of Law 10.4 (a) next Wednesday.
