Voting is now open for supporters to choose Leicester Tigers’ latest Lumbers Player of the Month.

George Ford, Will Spencer and Guy Thompson have all been nominated for the monthly award by Geordan Murphy’s coaching team following their performances in Gallagher Premiership rounds 18 and 19 against Exeter Chiefs and Newcastle Falcons.

Use the button below to have your say and vote before the poll closes next Thursday, April 25. The winner will be announced at half-time in the Premiership fixture against Bristol Bears at Welford Road on Saturday, April 27.

Club captain Tom Youngs picked up the latest Player of the Month award, adding to a list featuring forwards Harry Wells and David Denton as well as backs George Worth, Jonah Holmes, Ben White and George Ford.

Supported by High Street jewellers Lumbers and voted for by Tigers supporters, the monthly prize recognises the contributions of individual players throughout the campaign.

Each month, fans are asked to pick their top individual performer from a shortlist of three nominated by Tigers head coach Geordan Murphy and his back-room staff. The player who tops the vote on the Lumbers website will win the award, which is then presented on the Welford Road pitch in front of a packed crowd.

George Ford
The Leicester fly-half has been showing the form that has earned him 55 Test caps (and counting). He took the fight to the Chiefs at Welford Road, where his slick handling was instrumental in both of Tigers’ tries, while the trip to Kingston Park was an exhibition of the 26-year-old’s kicking prowess, making 12 points from the tee and taking territory time and time again with his kicking from hand.

Will Spencer
Spencer has been nominated three times for Player of the Month so far this season – his first at the club – and has been a vital asset in both attack and defence in recent weeks. The giant lock made more carries than any other Tigers forward against Exeter and trucked the ball up all evening against the Falcons in a winning display at Kingston Park.

Guy Thompson
The back-rower featured off the bench against Exeter and was on top form for the trip to Kingston Park. Setting up Jonny May’s opening try and bagging two of his own – including a 60-metre interception score – the Tigers forward was a real menace for Falcons’ defence before making a crucial last-minute intervention on his own line to cement victory on Tyneside.

Voting closes next Thursday (April 25) and the winner will be announced at half-time next Saturday (April 27) during the Round 20 Gallagher Premiership match against Bristol. Match tickets are available now.
