Aspland-Robinson feeling the love in Leicester

New recruit Sam Aspland-Robinson says the friendly welcome from his new team mates at Tigers has made the move to Leicester much easier than he anticipated it would be.

Speaking to LTTV at the club's Oval Park Training Ground, the 21-year-old admitted he thought the environment at Tigers would be more in line with the hard-nosed, old-school ways he had heard so much about.

"Everybody has been so welcoming."

After receiving international honours and U18 and U20 levels with England while part of the Harlequins Academy, Aspland-Robinson sat out the majority of last season with a knee injury and updates supporters on what he's concentrating on as he targets a consistent run of game time at Tigers.

The Junior World Cup winner also tells LTTV what the message from coaches Matt O'Connor and Geordan Murphy has been since his arrival, which senior player has been a helping hand so far this pre-season and why he would have been silly to turn down an offer from Leicester when it came last year.
