Will you marry me? Fans pop the question at Tigers

Love was in the air at Welford Road as two couples got engaged in front of a big matchday crowd.Leicester Tigers’ Valentine’s Day-themed game against Gloucester Rugby on Friday night provided the backdrop for the marriage proposals.   Before kick-off, supporters were there to witness David Letts propose to Sarah Thompson in the MET-Rx Stand.   At half-time it was the turn of Tigers fan Gary Morrison to propose to his Gloucester-supporting girlfriend Jess Sadler from his seat in the Goldsmiths Stand. Click here to watch the proposal.   And there were cheers all round for both couples as their marriage proposals were accepted by their partners.   The Valentine’ Day-themed fixture, in association with Goldsmiths, also included the popular addition of Kiss Cam before kick-off and at half-time.   And couples Marcus and Claire Allard and John and Janice Wormleighton took part in a game of Mr & Mrs during half-time.   The Allards, Claire a Tigers fan and Marcus a Gloucester supporter, were the winning couple and took home a fantastic Valentine’s Day prize which includes his and hers watches courtesy of Goldsmiths, a voucher to use at Wildmoor Spa, a bottle of Champagne and afternoon tea for four at Leicester's Belmont Hotel.   Shirley Furlong, who attended the game with husband Kim, was the lucky winner of the Golden Ticket giveaway.
