Tigers trio Andy Forsyth, Sam Harrison and Will Hurrell were a part of the England Under-18 side which opened their international season with a 25-15 win over Wales at Worcester on Sunday.

Centre Forsyth started the game and scored a late conversion, while scrum-half Harrison and wing Hurrell were used from the bench as England ran in three tries.

England coach Alex Sanderson said: “I am really happy for all of the boys, they showed great composure in a tough atmosphere and are clearly improving all the time. Wales showed a lot of tenacity today, but the boys overcame everything they threw at us and now we can’t wait for the Six Nations Festival in Cork.”
