Work for Tigers in the community

There are a number of career opportunities available within the Leicester Tigers community department helping to drive the club’s programmes across the UK. 

A role has opened for a SEND Rugby Development Officer delivering special educational needs and disability programmes with the aim of supporting opportunities in sport for those living with a disability. 

As project lead, the role will specifically, but not exclusively, work with SEND Schools, community groups and in-house teams, developing a wide reaching rugby themed activity programme that creates opportunities and pathways for sustained participation for those members of the Tigers Community in need of support.

Ideal candidates must hold a minimum Level 2 RFU Coaching Certificate and a valid RFU enhanced DBS clearance. They will also possess a good understanding of the barriers to participation in sport for those living life with SEND.

The club is also on the lookout for casual coaches to help deliver its new multi-sports programme.

This flexible-hours role is a key contributor towards achieving the club's goal of engaging a wide spectrum of the community, and developing their involvement with Tiger Sports.

A relevant NGB Level 2 qualification in any sport is desirable and, if you are interested in this role, please send your CV to [email protected] 

Working alongside the community department, there is also a new opening in the club’s Group Days team as a Group Days Executive

The team look after relationships between the businesses and any external groups that wish to participate in group activities. As a Group Days Executive, you will promote and sell tickets, clinics and camps to various organisations within a catchment area.
