Young players improve skills on Tigers Camps

Figure image
Young players are improving their game this half-term with the expert help of Tigers coaches and players on the club's Rugby Camps.

Tigers are running camps at Boston RFC in Lincolnshire and Shrewsbury RFC in Shropshire. The camps include three half-days of tag rugby for U7s to U8s, and five days of contact coaching for U9s to U15s.

There is also the chance to grill a Tigers player on life at the biggest and best-supported club in the country.

Academy graduate Oli Bryant will visit the camp at Boston while South Africa international prop Pat Cilliers will drop in at Shrewsbury. Both players will take part in a Q&A and pass on their professional tips.

Players of all abilities are able to improve their individual and team skills under the guidance of Tigers coaches with camps offering tag rugby for U7s and U8s running for half-days (9.30am-12.30pm) and contact rugby opportunities for U9s and older over full days (9.30am-3.30pm).

Tigers Rugby Camp participants all receive a Tigers T-shirt, ball and drinks bottle, membership to the Junior Tigers Club, a free junior ticket to an allocated home game and there is a hot lunch provided for all full-day sessions.

And with just two months to go until Christmas, a place on a Tigers Rugby Camp makes the perfect present for the little Tiger in your life.
