Tigers duo Ben Youngs and Dan Cole have been added to the England squad for training in Portugal ahead of the RBS 6 Nations.

Second-rower Geoff Parling has been added to the England Saxons squad preparing for the match against Ireland A at Bath’s Recreation Ground on Sunday.

Scrum-half Youngs and tighthead prop Cole have been called in from the Saxons set-up as injury cover for clubmates Harry Ellis and Julian White.

Team manager Martin Johnson and England's Elite Playing Squad arrived in Portugal on Sunday evening at the start of preparations for the opening game of the 2010 RBS 6 Nations against Wales on February 6.

Youngs will return to England on Tuesday to rejoin the Saxons squad ahead of their opening fixture against Ireland A.

The scrum-half was only added to the Saxons squad last week after an impressive run of form in the first half of the season, while Cole earned his first Saxons honours last season but this is his first call into the senior set-up.
