Tom Youngs is due to appear before an independent disciplinary panel on Wednesday afternoon following his red card in the game against Exeter Chiefs.
Leicester Tigers captain Youngs was shown a red card by referee Tom Foley in the second half of the match against Exeter on Saturday. This was for making contact with Chiefs lock Ollie Atkins' head in a ruck contrary to Law 9.20(a) – dangerous play in a ruck or maul.
The hearing will take place in London on Wednesday (April 10) at 5.00pm. The panel will be chaired by Philip Evans QC with Richard Whittam QC and Chris Skaife.
