In our final feature exploring the stories of Leicester Tigers season ticket holders from around the ground, we catch up with The White Family, from Hinckley.

Eddie and Rita, plus sons James and Ryan, enter their fourth season as season ticket holders this year, and are looking forward to once again supporting the team from their seats in The Robin Hood Stand.

Rita says: “We’re big Tigers fans and have been season ticket holders for [three] years in The Robin Hood Stand. It’s always a great day out for the family.”

Eddie adds the family’s choice of seats in Welford Road’s newest stand was a complete accident – but now they couldn’t contemplate moving from ‘their spot’.

“We were newbies, so we needed somewhere to sit and just happened to choose this end, over any of the other areas around the stadium,” he explains.

“We’ve got really nice, comfortable seats and a great view, and we’re really happy with our spot.”

And, with rugby-mad sons James and Ryan both playing for local club Market Bosworth, a trip to Welford Road is truly a family affair for the Whites – even buying extra match tickets for grandad Roy to see the Tigers in action.

“We’re from Hinckley – not far at all – so it’s great to come down and see the team in action,” Eddie says.
