The quintet have made a combined 30 appearances for the club but are yet to make their Premiership debuts.

Chessum and Manz are both graduates from the Tigers Academy, having represented the club in the Under-18 league, while Allan, Miell, and van der Flier joined the club at Senior Academy level.

Allan, Chessum, Manz, and Miell have all represented England at age-grade level so far in their careers.

Chessum is currently on loan with Japanese club Mitsubishi Sagamihara Dynaboars. The younger brother of teammate Ollie, Chessum signed a new contract with Leicester Tigers in January before beginning his loan spell in Japan.

Meanwhile, Joshua Manz, who also has an older brother at the club, Tom, has agreed to a new deal to keep him at Leicester Tigers beyond the current campaign.

Speaking about the renewal, Joshua Manz said: “It is really exciting to sign a new deal and have the opportunity to keep representing Leicester Tigers.”

"I am so unbelievably grateful for everything this club has invested in me and am excited to continue my journey, especially alongside my brother, and continue to contribute towards the success of Leicester Tigers in the future.”

On Manz, General Manager Richard Wilks said: "Josh has overcome a lot in recent time to get himself back on the field and, throughout, displayed incredible character and commitment."

"Everybody at the club is proud of Josh for working his way back from some big injuries to be in this position and having earned a new deal at the club. He's a great example to anyone of never giving up, and we are looking forward to seeing him continue to develop long into the future at Leicester Tigers."

On the quintet gaining promotion to the Senior Squad, Wilks added: "These five players have all followed different paths to be where they are, with five very different stories to tell about how they have reached this level in the game."

"In their opportunities to date, playing senior rugby, they have all shown promise, and we are looking forward to seeing them continue to grow as players and people here at the club. They are all deserving of this opportunity next season, and I am very pleased for all of them."
