Leicester Tigers and Brooksby Melton College’s ACE (Academy, Colleges and Education) development squad are up and running in this season’s ACE North Group.

The squad narrowly missed out on an opening day win following a 29-33 defeat at home to Bishop Burton College, before a hard-fought 26-29 win on the road to City of Oxford College. 

Without a game in Round 3, BMC faced Myerscough College the following week and recorded a convincing win before a run of three further fixtures to see out the campaign.

Since first establishing links in 2014, Brooksby Melton College and Leicester Tigers continue to work together to help support young rugby players to combine their studies and training, while also gaining qualifications and work experience.
