Fifteen minutes before kick-off to Sunday’s game, Leicester Tigers will be acknowledging the achievements of some inspirational characters and events involving the #TigersFamily.

While their focus on the day will be on preparing the team, the club will take the opportunity to celebrate the incredible efforts of Kevin Sinfield and Will Findlay during the last month in raising funds and awareness for their chosen causes.

We will also salute mascot club mascot Welford’s London Marathon run and welcome the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team who have enjoyed success in domestic competition and as part of Team GB’s Paralympic gold medal-winning squad, including David Needham who was among those who started Kevin’s amazing Extra Mile Challenge from Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

We urge all supporters to reach the stadium as early as possible on matchday and make their way to their places in the stadium in good time to acknowledge all of our heroes’ achievements with a huge Tigers round of applause!

A group of volunteers from the MND Association, a cause at the heart of Kevin Sinfield’s fundraising, are also hosting a bucket collection around the stadium – bring your change!
