We want to celebrate the best of Leicester Tigers, and that means you; the #TigersFamily.
Existing season ticket holders should have already received renewal information in readiness for the Gallagher Premiership 2019/20 season, featuring our all-new loyalty lanyards.
The four unique designs – as modelled above by current Tigers players Sione Kalamafoni and Ben White, plus assistant coach Anthony Allen and head coach Geordan Murphy – welcome supporters in four distinct categories.
Loyal fans who have been committed to the club for one to four years (like Sione) will be welcomed as a ‘Season Ticket Holder’, five to nine years (like Ben) as part of the ‘Season Ticket First XV’, 10 to 19 years (like Ant) as a ‘Season Ticket Champion’, and more than 20 years (like Geordan) as a ‘Season Ticket Legend’.
All four lanyards feature unique designs, with the ‘Season Ticket Legend’ edition boasting player artwork including head coach Geordie, Martin Johnson, Dusty Hare, Neil Back and club record appearance-holder David Matthews.
Geordan said: “Leicester Tigers as a club means an awful lot to me, and the supporters play a key part in helping us succeed.
“Having been here – first as a player and now as a coach – for more than 20 years, you can certainly recognise those loyal fans who stick with the club through both highs and lows, and all of us are working round the clock to ensure that loyalty is repaid.
“It’s great to see that the club are doing even more to recognise our most dedicated supporters.”
While these exclusive lanyards are not available to purchase, they can be replaced if damaged or worn by swapping old for new at the Welford Road ticket office.
Length of service is determined up to the end of the 2018/19 season. If you change category next season and renew your season ticket, you will receive your new lanyard in September.
More than 13,000 supporters will also receive a copy of the club’s annual publication, the Tigers Times.
The 20-page newspaper takes fans behind-the-scenes at Welford Road and Tigers’ Oval Park training base and features interviews with Geordan and his coaching staff, in-depth features with players including Guy Thompson, Tommy Reffell and Jordan Olowofela, as well as telling the story of the team behind the team through head of medical services Ed Hollis and head groundsman Ed Mowe, among others.
