Leicester Tigers players Ollie Chessum and Jack van Poortvliet have both been named in the Rugby Player Association's Under-23 Premiership Team of the Year.

Chessum features at lock for the side after making 13 Premiership appearances for Tigers this season, while van Poortvliet slots in a scrum-half after a mid-season return from injury that saw him start five games and score two tries, including a memorable snipe in the final round home victory over Exeter Chiefs.

The RPA U23s team is decided by the public from nominees that have previously been nominated for their monthly 15 under 23 award.

Chessum was nominated for January 2024's award while van Poortvliet was nominated in April.
