Easter fun winners ready for JTC Takeover Day

Some of our lucky Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day competition winners were introduced to a sell-out Welford Road crowd when Tigers faced Wasps last weekend.

The winners won the club’s Easter egg hunt organised in the Junior Tigers Club VIP area and around the stadium ahead of the fixture.

Youngsters Oliver Blake and Luke Jesson will join the rest of the Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day team in a number of matchday roles when Tigers welcome Northampton Saints to Welford Road on April 14.

Oliver and Luke will be our lucky mascots for the day and will have an official photo taken on the pitch at half time.

After finding out he was a winner, eight-year old Luke said: “I’m very excited. It was a big surprise to be asked to come onto the pitch today as I’ve never been on it before I’m looking forward to the Saints game already!”

The Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day is supported by club partner The Nottingham Building Society, who offer goodies and experiences for young members to make their matchdays even more special.

Lisa Hatton, customer service consultant at NBS, added: “The JTC Takeover Day is always a brilliant day and it’s great to welcome some of our competition winners onto the pitch here at Welford Road and look forward to the Northampton Saints fixture.

“Representatives from our branches have been helping out with the Junior Tigers Club here on matchdays and promoting the opportunity to parents and customers at every opportunity. We can’t wait to see the kids in their matchday roles on April 14."

Other youngsters will take on the roles of designer, kitman, announcer, reporter and much more on the day. To find out more about joining the Junior Tigers Club, visit the link below.
