Tigers took a 10-point, 22-12, lead into the break before scoring 40 points in the second-half to seven from the visitors.
Dan Kelly, Jack van Poortvliet, George Martin and a penalty try - which denied Ashton another - rounded out the scorers' list for the home side.
Handré Pollard added eleven points from the kicking tee, with four conversions and a penalty-goal, while Jimmy Gopperth contributed four points with two conversions from two attempts.
