Irish referees confirmed for European ties

Leicester Tigers’ back-to-back fixtures with Racing 92 in December will both be officiated by Irish referees.

Andrew Brace takes charge of the Heineken Champions Cup Round 3 game at the new Paris La Defense Arena on Sunday, December 9. Kick-off in Paris is at 4.15pm.

The return fixture at Welford Road will be refereed by George Clancy on Sunday, December 16 (kick-off 1.00pm).

Racing top the group after the opening two rounds with Tigers one point ahead of Ulster in third and Scarlets complete Pool 4.

The unique back-to-back fixtures are always an important part in the European calendar as teams chase a place in the knockout stages of the tournament.
