Leicester's Canadian players celebrated a big victory in the final round of the Pacific Four Series, while the Tigers representing the USA suffered a heavy defeat.
Claire Gallagher started for Canada at fly-half in the 38-point, 45-7, victory over Australia in Brisbane. She played 55 minutes, guiding the Canadians around the field in the seven tries to one victory.
Fellow Tiger Julia Omokhuale came on as a late replacement at Suncorp Stadium, with the win seeing Canada to the top of the table with two wins from three outings, with New Zealand and America still to play.
Unfortunately for both Leicester's Canadian and USA representatives, the Black Ferns were in unstoppable form and ran in thirteen tries to register a 79-14 win over America at North Harbour Stadium in New Zealand.
Keia Mae Sagapolu and Emily Henrich started, while Tess Feury joined the action as a replacement after just 12 minutes.
New Zealand's win saw them join Canada at the top of the table with two wins from three games, after their match-up ended in a draw earlier in the competition. However, it was the Black Ferns who took home the trophy with a more favourable points difference.
