Two young Leicester Tigers fans won the chance to lead out the players on to the famous Welford Road pitch at last weekend’s Gallagher Premiership match against Gloucester Rugby.
Isaac and Alex, who are both members of the Junior Tigers Club, soaked up the pre-match atmosphere pitchside before joining captain Tom Youngs to lead out the team.
I was really excited and ran around the kitchen. My friends didn’t believe me when I told them, but they probably do now!
Both fans also received a full Tigers kit as well as a signed photo on the pitch with Green and club mascot Welford.
Just before kick-off, Isaac said: “My dad told me two weeks ago, I was really excited and ran around the kitchen. My friends didn’t believe me when I told them, but they probably do now!”
Alex also said: “I only found out about 5 minutes ago and it was quite exciting when they called out my name.”
