Prima Tiger Cup returns this weekend

The country’s biggest single-age group rugby festival of its kind returns to Welford Road this weekend as eight junior U10s team take to the famous pitch after Tigers Gallagher Premiership showdown against Wasps (Saturday, March 2, 3.00pm).

Young rugby players from Crusaders, Market Rasen and Louth, Newark, Old Laurentians, Old Newtonians, Silhillians, Sutton Coldfield and Wymondham rugby clubs will kick off at 5.30pm, and supporters are encouraged to hang around and show their support.

Two of these teams will be invited back to Welford Road to join Beccles and Lichfield in the Prima Tiger Shield, and Hinckley and Woodbridge in the Prima Tiger Bowl at our celebration day at a Tigers home game later this season. 

Supported by Prima Solutions based in Loughborough, The 2018/19 campaign marks 25 years since the Prima Tiger Cup first gave youngsters the opportunity to follow their Tigers heroes and play at the home of Leicester Tigers.
