Eight lucky U10’s teams followed in the footsteps of their heroes as they took part in the first Welford Road Prima Tiger Cup gameof the season.
Youngsters from Beccles, Ipswich, Market Harborough, Oundle, Scunthorpe, Stamford, Wellingborough and Woodbridge took to the field to play in a round-robin tournament following Tigers Premiership Rugby Cup fixture against Worcester Warrior.
The Prima Tiger Cup is the largest single age group event of its kind giving U10 teams the opportunity to be invited to play at Welford Road.
Rewarding rugby values such as teamwork, sportsmanship and respect, each team was invited to take part at Welford Road following their performance and attitude at their local festival.

Leicester Tigers hosts a Prima Tiger Cup finals day each season celebrating the teams that have stood out during the events. The club will be welcoming Beccles and Woodbridge back to Welford Road on April, 27.
Tigers are hosting the next Prima Tiger Cup day following Tigers Premiership Rugby showdown against Saracens on November, 25.
