Host nation Japan will stand between Team GB and a place in the wheelchair rugby final at the Paralympics.
Team GB, with Leicester Tigers quartet Gavin Walker, Jamie Stead, Jack Smith and Nick Cummins in the squad, had already secured a place in the semi-finals before defeat by the USA in their last pool fixture on Friday.
As a result, USA go into the last four as pool winners, with Team GB now facing Japan in the semi-finals on Saturday.
Team GB beat Canada and New Zealand before the winning run ended against the USA, silver medallists at the last Paralympic Games, who overturned an early deficit to finally overhaul their rivals in the last quarter to record a 50-48 victory.
