Seven players from the Leicester Tigers Academy have been named for England’s first Under-18s development camp of the season.
England U18s’ season started with the three-game tour of South Africa, in which the side played three matches in the U18 International Series.
The development squad includes 21 of the group that took on Argentina, France and South Africa in August – including forwards Archie Vanes, Kit Smith and Emeka Ilione – who also captained the side in their final fixture.
Tigers are the best-represented club among the squad, with additional call ups for Jack Rowntree, Rob Hardwick and Ben Muncaster in the forwards, alongside first-year full-back Oliver Smith.
The camp takes place at Bisham Abbey National Sports centre between October 28 and 31 and is seen as vital preparation ahead of the international U18s season.
