The Leicester Tigers Supporters Forum met on Tuesday to share their views on the season so far on and off the pitch at Welford Road.

The forum heard the club’s plans for season ticket pricing for the 2018/19 campaign, with price freezes in most areas of the stadium and improved prices for under-25s. There was also discussion on the club’s premium memberships.

The forum was updated on the timeline for the start of work on the new hotel alongside car park development. Supporters were reassured that Tigers will be working with nearby partners and looking at all possibilities for car parking when development begins.

Supporters discussed the signing of Tatafu Polota-Nau, the recent contract announcements of key players including Matt Toomua, Telusa Veainu and Dan Cole, Tom Croft’s retirement, and a focus on Tigers Development team’s win over Worcester.

The club also shared updates on its Christmas plans, on the work of Tigers Foundation and its heritage projects and plans for further supporter activities in 2018.

The forum meets six times each season to discuss issues and events at Welford Road. The objective of the forum remains to act as a voice for all supporters from every background, community and culture.

The next forum will be the club’s open forum which members of the public can attend. This is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13. Further details will be announced nearer the time.
