The curtain went up on the new Aviva Premiership season with thousands of Leicester Tigers fans coming together to enjoy the annual Tigers in the Park.
Held on Nelson Mandela Park, opposite Welford Road stadium, and the plaza in front of the Holland & Barrett Stand, Tigers in the Park celebrates the first home game of the season.
The event, now in its seventh year, formed part of the celebrations to mark 125 years at Welford Road.
The park was busy with young fans enjoying inflatables, go-karts and a farm animal petting area, as well as tag rugby, a climbing wall and laser tag.
Nottingham Building Society, sponsors of the Robin Hood Stand at Welford Road, encouraged fans to take on their Kick, Catch, Score Challenge.
There was live entertainment from Leicestershire band The Smarties, The Voice Kids contestant Tabi Gervis and the ever popular Gabhru Panjab de Bhangra.
