Tigers on Tour | Leicester trio named for final weekend

Tigers trio Julián Montoya, Matías Moroni and Jasper Wiese will feature in the final round of the 2021 Rugby Championship in Australia.

Montoya and Moroni have been included in the starting side for Argentina in their fixture against Australia, while Wiese has been named among the South Africa replacements for their game against New Zealand.

Marco van Staden has not been named by South Africa, with his place on the bench being taken by future Tigers team-mate Wiese who missed the fifth round.

In the final of the double-headers 'down under', at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast, Los Pumas meet the Wallabies in the opening match on Saturday (October 2) before the Springboks meet the All Blacks in a blockbuster.

New Zealand have already secured the trophy, sitting atop the leaderboard with 24 points after five rounds, as the only team yet to suffer defeat.

Australia, who have played host to the final four weeks of the revised competition, are in second place and South Africa in third.

Argentina, yet to record a victory or register a point on the competition table, are in fourth place.
