We can now reveal the winning score in the Topps Tiles Try-Umph of the Season, as voted by supporters of the Leicester Tigers.

Every month throughout the season, supporters voted for their favourites in conjunction with club main partners Topps Tiles, with every voter also included in a special draw to win a Tigers shirt signed by the winning player.

Seven different players topped the polls, from Richard Wigglesworth’s debut score before Christmas, through to new England cap Harry Wells and England Under-20s captain Jack van Poortvliet, then Hanro Liebenberg, Zack Henry, Ellis Genge and finally Dan Cole on the final day of the league programme in June.

Now we can reveal that the winner of the Topps Tiles Try-Umph of the Season 2020/21 is:

Jack van Poortvliet.

The scrum-half topped the poll for his sniping run at Harlequins when the teenager capitalised on a kick from Kini Murimurivalu, the chase from Freddie Steward and then a ruck set up by a carry from George Martin to dummy left and then dart through a gap and outpace the defence to score his first Gallagher Premiership try.
