Tigers take home prizes at The Rugby Awards

Four Leicester Tigers players were among the winners at The Rugby Awards on Tuesday evening.

The inaugural event, bringing together Premiership Rugby, PWR, England Rugby, and The RPA, was held in London to celebrate the standout moments and players from the 24/25 season.

Ollie Hassell-Collins and Bristol's Gabriel Ibitoye shared the stage to receive the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Top Try Scorer award after both finished with 13 tries after the conclusion of the regular season.

Meg Jones, who is in camp with the Red Roses, was voted as PWR Player of the Season after just her second campaign with the club in the competition.

Josh Bassett was one of four winners of the Vodafone Business RPA Gain Line Award alongside Josh Caulfield (Bristol Bears), Harry Glover (Great Britain 7s), and Harry Thacker and Jake Woolmore (Bristol Bears), for their efforts in business off the field.

Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby player Taylor Gough won The RPA Blyth Spirit Award.

Joseph Woodward was a nominee for the Breakthrough Player of the Year and Michael Cheika a nominee for Director of Rugby of the Season.
