Two Leicester Tigers players have been selected to represent Great Britain in today's European Championships.
Gavin Walker and Faye West will travel to the Netherlands to represent their country on the international stage.
both possess vast experience in international competition, Walker having captained Great Britain at the 2024 Parlaympic Games in Paris last summer while West, meanwhile, captained GB at the 2024 Women's Cup in November.
Meanwhile, Sébastien Verdin has been selected for title holders France.
The international star last competed for Leicester in 2023 before re-signing for the club in Spring of this year.
Great Britain are one of eight countries competing, a field that also includes the aforementioned France, the hosts as well as Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
The event is the first European Championship since Summer 2023, the 2024 version not held due to that year's Paralympic Games, with France the reigning champions for the last two events.
The event will take place at Sportcampus Zuiderpark in The Hague, from Tuesday, April 22 through to Sunday, April 27.
GB will get their campaign underway tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23, when they take on Poland, before further pool stage fixtures against Switzerland and Denmark on successive days.
The knockout stages begin with Saturday's semi-finals before the tournament is decided on Sunday, April 27.
