If you haven’t heard about this weekend’s Junior Tigers Club Takeover Day, where have you been?
Not only do Leicester Tigers welcome local rivals Northampton Saints to Welford Road in the Aviva Premiership (April 14, 3.00pm), but it’s the turn of the kids as they take on matchday roles around the stadium.

But what is the Junior Tigers Club we hear you ask?
The Junior Tigers Club is a free fans membership for under 16’s and once you’re a member, you can join us in the Junior Tigers Club VIP area before kick-off.
With activities like table tennis, connect 4, face painting, interactive games, arts and crafts and games consoles, there’s plenty of games to have fun with before the rugby starts.
What’s more, you’ll get to meet Tigers players, ask them questions and have your photo with them.
To join the Junior Tigers Club is completely free to join and members receive:
- A Junior Tigers Club welcome goodie bag
- Weekly updates from club mascot Welford in the ‘Splat’ e-newsletter
- Chance to enter our mascot draws and lead the team out onto the pitch.
- Tiger Cubs (3-7 years old) can dress up like Welford and follow him on to the pitch before scoring a try under the posts in front of the home crowd.
