Mixed results for Tigers on Test stage

Three tries in the final eight minutes, including one to Freddie Steward, of the match helped secure a 25-25 draw for England with New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday afternoon.

The Leicester Tigers full-back crossed in the corner on the end of some slick attack from England as the fought back to deny the All Blacks a win after trailing by 14 points at half-time in the penultimate Autumn Test of the November international window.

Steward was one of two Tigers who started the Test, alongside Jack van Poortvliet, with clubmates Guy Porter and Ben Youngs coming on as replacements to help trigger the comeback from the national side.

Elsewhere in international fixtures on Saturday, Jasper Wiese was a force for South Africa in their 42-point, 21-63 win over Italy while Julián Montoya skippered Argentina in their high-scoring 52-29 defeat to Scotland.
