Thirty Leicester Tigers fans joined some of the club’s newest faces for a unique cocktail masterclass evening at Welford Road.
The Clubhouse suite in the Robin Hood Stand was the backdrop for the return of the club’s popular ‘Mix it with the New Guys’ evening, in partnership with Leicester gin distiller Burleigh’s Gin.
Recent summer signings Jordan Coghlan, Calum Green, Nephi Leatigaga, Hanro Liebenberg, Noel Reid, Iferemi Bolodau, Jaco Taute, EW Viljoen, Johnny McPhilips and Joe Thomas took the time to meet fans and take part in a Q&A.
Burleigh’s expert cocktail makers were on hand to introduce the group to the science behind mixology as well as teach them to make their own cocktails.
Head coach Geordan Murphy also took time out of his schedule to attend the event, in a week which saw his side claim their first win of the season on the first time of asking beating Exeter Chiefs 27-7 in Round 2 of the Premiership Rugby Cup.

Welford Road hosts a number of events, conferences and meetings throughout the year and there’s plenty for Tigers fans to get stuck into during the 2019/20 campaign.
