The Leicester Tigers Foundation is opening its Healthy Goals programme to new participants, starting next week (September 12).
- Do you know if there is a history of cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes in your family or where to start in making lifestyle choices to improve your health and well-being?
- Does a trip to the supermarket fill you with dread as you try to navigate what all the food labelling means?
- Do you want to know where to start to become more active and what actually counts?
If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions then the Healthy Goals programme is here to help.
Following the success of our first group of participants, the Foundation is pleased to open up bookings for a second intake.
A 12-week block starts on Monday, September 12 (9.30-11.30am) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, home of the Leicester Tigers.
Delivered by trained facilitators, you will be provided with information about your own personal risk of developing health problems and support will be given to find out what lifestyle changes will work best for you. Each session will finish with some physical activity.
Spaces are limited so, if you are interested, please contact health manager Liz Causon at [email protected].
