The PREM Rugby Cup schedule for 25/26 has been confirmed, with the competition kicking off the new season in September.
In a new format including just PREM clubs, Leicester Tigers have been drawn in Pool B alongside Harlequins, Newcastle Falcons, Northampton Saints, and Saracens.
Geoff Parling’s first competitive game in charge of Leicester Tigers will be at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Round 1 of the Cup against Saracens on Saturday, September 13, before travelling to Harlequins in Round 2.
The Cup resumes in November with three successive weekends, starting with a trip to Newcastle on October 31 before a bye weekend for Tigers in Round 4 and rounds out with a game against Northampton at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on November 22.
Cup rugby is back in January with seven successive weekends of action, including a Round 6 trip to Northampton, Round 7 home fixture against Falcons (Saturday, February 7), showdown with Saracens in London in Round 8, home game against Harlequins in Round 9 and bye weekend in the final pool round. The PREM Rugby Cup Final will be hosted on the weekend of March 13-15.
