Leicester Tigers travel to Kingsholm in Round 20 of the 2022/23 Gallagher Premiership season to play Gloucester Rugby.

The match doubles as the second-ever Slater Cup fixture, played in tribute to former Leicester and Gloucester player Ed Slater and to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

In the most recent meeting between the long-time rivals, Tigers won 28-13 at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

The clubs have met on 231 previous occasions, 113 of which have been played at Kingsholm where Leicester have come away victorious from the past two trips.

Richard Wigglesworth welcomes back Ben Youngs and Joe Heyes for the league fixture on Sunday, after they were released mid-week by England Rugby.

Ollie Chessum, Dan Cole, Jack van Poortvliet, Freddie Steward and Anthony Watson were retained by England for their Guinness Six Nations fixture against France on Saturday afternoon at Twickenham.

Tigers have won three successive Premiership fixtures heading into Sunday’s game and - ahead of the round - sit in third spot on the league ladder, while Gloucester are in seventh just four points behind.
