The Leicester Tigers Supporters' Forum gathered this week at Welford Road for the group's their first meeting of the 2018/19 season.

Tigers kicked off this season in September with an Open Supporters' Forum as more than 200 fans turned out to hear from chief executive Simon Cohen, head of rugby operations Ged Glynn, scout Dusty Hare and interim head coach Geordan Murphy, before the meeting of the regular Supporters' Forum this week.

The forum covered a number of topics including positive feedback on the club’s recent supporters' trip to Ulster, provided by club partner Thomas Cook Sport, as well as looking forward to the next trip to Paris for the visit to Racing 92 in December. Places are still available to fly out with the first team by clicking here

The club also reflected on its Remembrance Day commemorations as well as news of the proposed hotel and car park development on the Granby Halls site.

The forum then turned its attention to season ticket holders and some of the benefits the club is looking to implement.

With access to exclusive website content, the potential for a loyalty scheme and updates to existing benefits, the conversation covered all types of season ticket holder subjects with a view to bringing many ideas forward ahead of the next renewals.

The club also presented a number of ideas for creating exclusive content to give season ticket holders behind-the-scenes access to Welford Road and Oval Park training ground.

With a mix of media channels available from Tigers, the forum fed back on what fans would be interested in and how they consume Tigers content.

Fans are invited to join the club for the second of its two Open Supporters Forums in the New Year. More details of this and how to register will be announced in coming weeks.

The Supporters’ Forum meets six times each season to discuss issues and events at Welford Road.
