A set of individually-signed Leicester Tigers Christmas shirts and some items signed by the whole squad are being auctioned or raffled in aid of the Leicester Tigers Foundation and its work in the local community.

The 23 members of the matchday squad from Sunday’s win over reigning league champions Harlequins will sign individually numbered shirts, plus extras signed by players Cyle Brink and George Martin, and by coaches Steve Borthwick, Aled Walters and Kevin Sinfield.

Club captain Ellis Genge and vice-captain Hanro Liebenberg will sign two shirts each, take the total to 30, which will all be released for auction at noon on Wednesday, December 8.

The online auction on the Tigers ebay page will be open for one week to allow for delivery in time for Christmas to the successful bidders.

As well as the individual auction items, there will be THREE shirts signed by the Tigers squad as prizes in an exclusive raffle which will be open from this Wednesday (December 8) until Sunday, December 19.

You can take part in the raffle online by clicking here or purchase tickets at any Tigers event or at the home game against Connacht before Christmas.

One shirt signed by the squad will also be auctioned, with the final shirt available as a prize in the TigersLotto draw.

All proceeds from the auction and raffle will go towards the work of the Tigers Foundation and a special Christmas party event which includes a visit to Boost trampoline park, tickets for the match against Connacht, lunch and a gift plus a three-day Christmas food hamper.

Sam Swift, Tigers Foundation manager, said: “With the support and generosity of the Tigers Family, we know we’ll be able to provide a jolly Christmas to those who need it the most in our community.

“Everyone at the Foundation is incredibly excited to be able to offer this party experience as part of the weekend before Christmas to those who may not have had an opportunity to experience a Tigers matchday before.”

The Foundation is also hosting a gift drop in aid of those in need this Christmas.

Supporters can donate a present or items from home at the Foundation collection points, which have kindly donated and decorated by club partner Biffa who are supporting the appeal, in the stadium shop and main reception.

Please note that presents do not have to be wrapped and can be suitable for any age range.
