Matchday protocols at home of the Tigers

Protocols remain in place at Mattioli Woods Welford Road this weekend to address current Covid guidelines.

The Government have announced a number of changes which come into effect next week, meaning some points remain in place for the Tigers home game against Bordeaux-Begles this Saturday.

For Saturday's game:

  • Supporters will be asked to show proof of vaccination or a lateral flow/PCR negative Covid test result before being admitted to the stadium.
  • Wearing of a face covering is required in indoor areas and congested space except when eating or drinking.
  • Supporters are still required to complete an online declaration which states that they are Covid-free, not required to isolate and able to provide evidence of vaccination or a lateral flow/PCR negative test result.

This will require pre-match checks at the turnstiles, and failure to complete the declaration or provide proof of vaccination/negative test result may result in refusal of entry to the stadium.

Please allow extra time for entry to comply with these checks so you can still enjoy the build-up to kick-off.

Match tickets remain on sale for Saturday (kick-off is at 3.15pm)  and upcoming home games at the Tigers ticket office.

Information on Covid guidelines will be updated from next week when the Government has said Plan B requirements will be removed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where do you fill in one of the declaration forms?

The link to the Covid Status Declaration will be emailed to ticket holders on Friday evening. Check your email inbox and also any junk folders.

What happens to season ticket holders/ticket purchasers who do not have internet access? How do they complete their declaration?

There will be printed copies available on the day at the ticket office booth outside Main Reception. Please allow extra time to collect and complete the form well ahead of kick-off if you are not able to do so online.

What if we do not have access to email between the time you send the declaration and the game?

There will be printed copies available on the day at the ticket office booth outside Main Reception. Please allow extra time to collect and complete the form well ahead of kick-off if you are not able to do so online.

How close to the game should a lateral flow test be completed?

The Covid negative test result must be from within 48 hours of the game. An NHS Covid Pass is valid for a month.

Do Tigers review all of the declarations and put something on season ticket cards which is recognised at the gate or do we just show our NHS Covid Passes?

A system is in place to monitor declarations but please also be prepared to show your Covid pass or negative test result.

Does the link go to every individual or just the ticket purchase if we attend as a group? How does that work?

The link is emailed to the lead booker only for groups of two or more. We ask that the lead booker distributes to all group members or completes each question on their behalf. The proof of status applies only to visitors aged 18 or over.
