Leicester Tigers are set to farewell a group of senior academy players at the end of the season.
Senior academy forwards Simon Koroiyadi and Oliver Crane will graduate from the academy with backs Jacob Cusick and Morgan Meredith also finishing up their time in Tigers’ pathways programme. Scrum-half Sam Edwards also departs the club after being granted an early release.
Leicester Tigers general manager, Richard Wilks said: “We are proud of the development of all the Senior Academy players who leave Leicester Tigers at the end of this season but it is never easy to see them go.
“With squad sizes decreasing and opportunities for game time in a Tigers shirt diminishing over recent years we felt it was right for the lads to continue their rugby careers in new environments.
“I hope they continue to prosper and like all players who started their journeys at the Club, we will follow their careers closely and with pride.”
