Georgian official Nika Amashukeli has been named as referee for the Heineken Champions Cup game between ASM Clermont Auvergne and Leicester Tigers at Stade Marcel-Michelin.
Tigers go to France for the Round of 16 first leg fixture on Sunday, April 9, with the return at Mattioli Woods Welford Road the following Saturday.
Amashukeli had been due to officiate in the cancelled Round 4 fixture against Bordeaux-Bègles at Mattioli Woods Welford Road and has been in charge of Tigers’ European fixtures previously, including the Challenge Cup games at home to Pau and Brive.
Appointments for the Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 second leg fixtures, including the home game against Clermont, will be announced after the conclusion of the first-leg round.
