The Anglo-Welsh competition features all 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. Each pool features three English sides and a Welsh representative.
Teams in Pool 1 play teams in Pool 4, teams in Pool 2 face teams in Pool 3. Each team plays four pool matches – two home and two away – with the top team from each pool qualifying for the semi-final.
Tigers will host Harlequins in round one on the weekend of November 6/7, with a trip to Swansea to face the Ospreys the following weekend. Tigers and Ospreys met in successive final of the Anglo-Welsh competition in 2007 and 2008, and met in the Heineken Cup in each of the last two seasons.
Round three features a trip to Exeter’s Sandy Park on January 29/30 and the pool stages conclude with a home game against old rivals Bath Rugby on February 5/6.
David Radford, LV= group marketing director, said: “LV= is strongly committed to rugby and our sponsorship of the Anglo-Welsh tournament. We are looking forward to another year of high quality, competitive rugby.”
