Ospreys v Tigers half-time

Leicester Tigers trailed Ospreys 6-3 at half-time of tonight's Heineken Cup Pool 3 game at the Liberty Stadium.

Fly-half Derick Hougaard kicked the Tigers points with a 15th-minute penalty. The South Africa international was off target with a second penalty and a drop-goal attempt in what was a cagey first half.

Ospreys had taken an early 6-0 lead through two James Hook penalties inside the opening 10 minutes. He was wayward with a third penalty, which followed a yellow card for Toby Flood for kicking the ball away from an offside position.

Hougaard was named at fly-half, with Flood switching to centre in place of the injured Aaron Mauger. Hougaard was partnered at half-back by Julien Dupuy.

Martin Corry returned to captain the side from the second row, while Boris Stankovich and Benjamin Kayser were selected in the front row and Ben Woods was handed the No7 shirt.

The Ospreys made a late change to their starting line-up when full-back Lee Byrne pulled out through injury.
